Thomas Anderson (Andy) Bowdoin, Jr. Arrives at Tallahassee FCI

The latest information from the BOP.gov website shows Uncle Andy is now at the Tallahassee Federal Corrections Institution, where Judge Rosemary Collyer had suggested he reside for his 78 months sentence. I do not think that federal prisons do parole, so Andy will serve all 78 months. I imagine his supporters in the area will likely visit him as often as allowed.

Federal “prisoners who demonstrate good behavior only serve about 87.1% of their total sentences.”
In other words, he will do about 5.66 years, which is not much of a deterrent to others contemplating similar acts.
